1- General Conditions
The present general conditions constitute a contract for the reservation of a rental car through the website acgmenorca.com, owned by the company Autos Cala Galdana S.L.U. with registered office at Urb Serpentona nª 7. 07760 Ciutadella de Menorca ( Balearic Islands ) and CIF B57088049. The processing of a reservation through this website implies the express acceptance of each and every one of these general conditions, which are completed with the Spanish legislation, general and specific for consumers and users.
2- Customer responsibility
You declare that you are over 23 years old (21 years old in the case of a 125 c.c. scooter) and have the legal capacity to acquire the services offered through this website. When making a reservation you are exclusively responsible for the accuracy of all the information you provide. If it is found to be incorrect, it could lead to the cancellation of the reservation.
3- Reservations and payment.
For our 2025 reservations, we request a 25% prepayment of the total reservation. For Presential deliveries, the rest of the rental is paid at the time of delivery, in cash or by card, as the client prefers.
Non-presential deliveries: In the event that your flight arrives later than 21:00 hrs, or you select the non-presential rate: the delivery is carried out in a non-presential manner. We park the car in the arrivals car park at the airport and the client collects it upon arrival. This service is carried out upon payment. As you have already paid 25% when making the reservation, the day before your arrival you will receive a reminder email with a payment link for the remaining amount of your reservation. This payment is made via an online payment gateway by card. We ask you to pay for the rental 24 hours before your arrival. There is the possibility of making this payment via transfer, the client will inform us so that we can provide you with the necessary information.
The successful completion of the reservation process does not constitute a vehicle rental contract, which in order to be formalized must be signed by the client and the rental company upon arrival at the vehicle collection point.
The rental company reserves the right to deny the signing of the rental contract to those people who do not accept the conditions.
4- Deliveries and return of the vehicle
Presential deliveries: For Presential deliveries at Menorca airport, we wait for our clients just outside the arrivals hall of the airport with a folder with the letters ACG. The client comes to us and we deliver the car to him in the same car park of the terminal. If we are not there, we ask our clients to wait for us in the self-payment machine area of the car park, which is located right in front of the doors of the arrivals terminal. At the time of delivery, we explain how to return the car at the airport itself. Our rental contract explains in detail the few steps to follow to return it to the same arrivals car park P1. In the event that the client parks the car in another car park within the airport grounds other than the aforementioned P1 car park, the client will be responsible for the costs of getting the car out.
Non-presential deliveries:
For this year 2025 and thanks to our 100% online delivery management system, we offer our customers the non Presential rate, prices that are somewhat cheaper than Presencial delivery. For deliveries after 9:30 p.m., our delivery method will be ‘non-Presential delivery’, without the possibility of having face-to-face delivery for these night hours. For non-presential deliveries: The customer receives instructions on the location of the car, and along with them the information on where to find the vehicle key and the parking ticket.

By selecting the non-presential rate on our website, the customer accepts that this cost is their responsibility. Thanks to this non-presential delivery option, we can offer a cheaper rental price.

Deliveries in Mahón and surroundings: We have an office in the Mahón industrial zone. We have a car and scooter delivery service at points in Mahón such as the Port of Mahón or the bus station. This service has no added cost. In the case of staying in Mahón, we would specify a point for delivery, depending on the car park and area of the accommodation.
5- Returns and cancellations
You can cancel your reservation with us without penalty up to 72 hours before your arrival. The 25% prepayment made would be fully refunded if canceled before those 72 hours. In the case of canceling the reservation within those 72 hours, or on the same day or not showing up, the 25% amount made as prepayment would not be refunded. Whatever the reason.
*Non-presential deliveries: In the event that the client pays 100% of their reservation one day before their arrival, or the same day, and for some reason they do not arrive in Menorca, we will refund 75% of the payment made .
The rental company reserves the right to cancel the reservation of ‘non-presential deliveries’ customers who have not previously sent the required documentation upon arrival, in the confirmation email sent by our reservations team.
If you return the vehicle before the date set in the contract for its return, you will not be refunded any amount (whatever the reason) for the rental.
6- Rental conditions (insurance)
Our vehicles have a compulsory third-party insurance policy that covers personal injuries of the vehicle’s occupants as well as third parties. Material damages are also covered, except for the damage to your own vehicle.
However, by means of the rental contract, our company exempts the client from any financial responsibility for damage to the vehicle or its theft, all of which is FREE of charge, i.e. full coverage is provided without any financial damage to the client.
What is said in the previous paragraph is conditioned to the fulfilment of the terms of the contract and to the fact that the damages have not been caused by
- Reckless or negligent driving
- Ingestion of substances that disturb or diminish the psychophysical faculties of the Driver (alcohol or drugs)
- Driving by a person not authorised by the company
- Bumps on the wheels and underneath the vehicle
- Misfuelling
- Damage inside the vehicle
- Loss or breakage of vehicle key (80 and 120 ? depending on model)
- Loss of the triangle pair (40 euros)

The vehicle will be delivered to you with a certain amount of fuel, usually a quarter tank, and on the day of return it must be returned with the same amount.

By accepting the present conditions you confirm that you are aware of the current regulations on data protection RGPD and LOPD, on behalf of the company we treat the information you provide us with the aim of providing you with the service requested, and to carry out the invoicing of the same. The data provided will be kept as long as the commercial relationship is maintained or for the years necessary to comply with legal obligations. The data will not be transferred to third parties except in cases where there is a legal obligation.
